During Christmas holidays, I always go home to Tagbilaran City. It's just that this year I wasn't able to pack my things up, get a ticket and sail to my home sweet land. I really felt bad at first because I already plotted my December schedule. However due to unexpected circumstances, plans were changed. It's not the end of it all. Of course, I still celebrated the Yuletide season with gladness. The good thing was that my younger sister didn't go home as well.
In the eve of December 25, we gathered together in her place along with some of her friends. It was a different experience since we were not at home to spend the best of the season with our family. We still enjoyed it by preparing some good food. Dining with new people who weren't also able to go home to their respective provinces was a memorable event. Though in the deepest chambers of our hearts we truly miss home.
No matter how intense our longing is but we couldn't be with our family all the time. The important thing is that despite the distance you know that they never cease to love, care and pray for you.
Hope you had a wonderful CHRISTmas! ;)

Totally True!
Distance cannot, and will not hurt a family bond that is based on mutual respect, trust, commitment, and love.
Regardless of the miles that may separate you from them, I truly believe that love is what makes your life special which is of course worth preserving.
Merry Christmas!
